Sweet Indulgences Sunday #43

Because my husband worked out of town this weekend, we haven't celebrated Valentine's Day yet. We're planning to go out of town next weekend so that will be our Valentine's Day celebration. I did make some rich, fudgy brownies yesterday and the kids and I have been munching on those.

We'll spend some time this afternoon filling out the boys' Valentine's cards for their classes. These cards just aren't what they used to be. I remember the cards I gave out during elementary school - they were covered in hearts and flowers with cute little envelopes. Now, there are no traditional Valentine's cards - just cartoon characters and the cards just fold in half. Where are the Valentine's icons? Where are the envelopes? Where is the love?

  6. I agree with the valentine dilemma!! It hard to find cute ones. Some of the character styles are cute, but then they are so small it's hard for my preschooler to write his name on them!! So glad there are so many great free printables!

Thanks for hosting the Sunday party!!

  12. My older son has Lego Ninjago cards. The box said there were 32 but there were only 16 cards. The box hadn't been opened either. Fortunately, he has a small class - not counting himself and the little girl who moved since the list was created - he had just enough.
