Welcome!

Spring forward...

Spring is just around the corner and we are beginning to see signs of it here in southeast Georgia. This weekend hasn't proven to be as beautiful as last weekend. It's been windy and rainy. Last weekend, we burned our grass to make it greener this summer. I love the smell of the burned grass. The rain this week has pretty much washed away the char from the blades.

The children have been busy with spring activities at school. B had a space themed song and dance festival at school last week. His class did a cute routine with batons and ribbons called Rockin' Robot. As much as he dreaded the performance, he had a good time. He told me afterwards that he was very nervous and had tried his best. He did a great job! St. Patrick's Day is Wednesday and the Pre-K will have its annual shoebox parade on Tuesday. C and I got his "float" ready last week. We went with a pot o' gold theme. He was very excited about working on the float and added some of the coins from his cash register. He finished it off by finding of photo of himself and sticking it on the float so that everyone would know it was his. It should be fun to watch.
