The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever from "Savory Sweet Life"

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever

Yes, I'm still singing the praises of Alice Currah's cookbook, Savory Sweet Life. I've still got a few more recipes on my to-do list but wanted to make these this weekend for my kids. Oh, I may have tasted one or two myself.

If you haven't bought your own copy of the cookbook, don't worry. You can find the recipe for the cookies right here on SavorySweetLife.com. I followed the advice that Alice gave on the online recipe and used one and a half bags of chocolate chips. I used a whole bag of semi-sweet chips and a half bag of milk chocolate chips. It was a nice combination of flavors.

Normally, I end up with a batch of about two dozen chocolate chip cookies whenever I'm baking. I do tend to make large cookies. But, because I was baking these cookies with the intent to share with others, I was able to make about four dozen of these.

This recipe makes a classic version of the chocolate chip cookie - soft and chewy and full of chips. My children are still enjoying them today. I know you will, too.

Next up from Alice Currah's Savory Sweet Life is Mini Thumbprint Jam Scones. Sounds wonderful doesn't it?
