Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Earlier this week, I received my copy of Savory Sweet Life by Alice Currah. I ordered it from Amazon after checking out the "look inside" feature. It was an impressive sneak peek and an even more impressive cookbook.
Here's the cover of the cookbook. It's quickly become my new favorite cookbook. I've got so many recipes marked to try. I even went out and picked up some ingredients that I will need to pull off a few of them. Fortunately, I had all of the ingredients to make this Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. I love it when a recipe comes together like that.

This bread was moist and full of flavor. I love the combination of chocolate and bananas. My children won't eat traditional banana bread but they enjoyed this chocolate version of it. Plus, I love a sweet bread like this that pulls double-duty and can be served as breakfast or dessert.
Next on my list of recipes to try from Savory Sweet Life is the Heavenly Almond Pound Cake and the Irresistible Ganache Brownies. I can't wait!!

ReplyDeleteHi Desi! I haven't done Sweet Indulgences Sunday in a while. It seemed to get smaller every week plus there are so many linky parties out there that I felt mine was getting lost. If there was a big demand, I would revive it! :)
