Recipe Snapshot: Creamy Green Onion Dip

Creamy Green Onion Dip
from Gooseberry Patch's Fresh from the Farmstand
Submitted by Tammy Tillotson from Houston, TX

If you've read my blog in the past, you won't be surprised that I chose to make this Creamy Green Onion Dip. So, I'm playing it safe here. I love green onions!!! And, the fact that this recipe called for two bunches of them didn't seem excessive to me. This dip is thick and rich. I'm currently consuming it was potato chips, but I think you could go the low-carb route and eat it with cucumbers or celery. See, it's almost healthy!

Creamy Green Onion Dip

2 8-oz. pkgs. reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
1 c. fat-free mayonnaise
1/2 c. low-fat milk
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 bunches green onions, chopped

Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix until well blended. Add milk and Worcestershire sauce; blend well. Stir in onions. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours. Makes about 4 cups.

Right up my alley! Yum!
